Thank You Lord!
Hello all,
Always remember to remain humble in any situation you are in; no matter if it’s bad or good. Be of good cheer. I know sometimes we can get on the defensive side when things aren’t going right. Its ok when you fall short because you never know what God is doing. If you fall short then pray and ask for forgiveness quick. Sometimes when we are in a storm it’s hard to see our way through. Picture driving in a car on a highway while it’s raining and hailing. Most individuals would stop or slow down with the hazard lights on until they can see their way clear, but some people like me keep moving knowing it’s dangerous grounds ahead, but we’re so focused on getting to our destination that we overlook what could happen. I now believe while in a storm it’s best to stop and wait because God is trying to protect us from what can happen.
Almost a month ago I was riding down a street early one morning, maybe around 6a.m. It was a little dark outside and I was thinking to myself about things that were going on in my life that I wanted to confront. A block before my destination I heard a rooster crow. I immediately slowed down, and said what in the heck chickens and roosters doing over here. I paid it no mind and kept going, but later was reminded of Jesus and how Judas betrayed him. The rooster crowing did something to me that I will never forget.
No matter what you go through or who has done what to you, always remain humble. I know it’s hard, but remember; God is your vindicator, he will see you through. I know it’s tough to remain humble when you’re going through a storm, but you must because God sees everything. Although you may not do what others do to you, you can’t worry about others. You must worry about yourself because you are a child of the highest “God.” I know a woman who seeked out revenge for what someone did to her, but God had to put her in the wilderness to remind her that she was dead wrong, and she needed to repent of her sins. She was fed information from others of how to go underground and gather evidence to expose her predators. They led her to believe and think this person was behind the game, and she didn’t want anyone else to go through what she went through, but God stopped her because she wasn’t leaving room for him to work.
He took her attention off of the situation by sending her an overflow that would definitely keep her out of the way and doing things he wanted her to do for a very long time. Her overflow came from three different sources and she couldn’t believe what was happening. She wanted to bless other’s since God had blessed her so her mind was focused on helping those who she could help. She said she had been getting up every morning thanking God, but little did she know God was doing a work in her that’s the beginning of the works he had set aside for a very long time.
When Jesus was betrayed, he remained Humbled, however his betrayal led to the biggest Work that God had set aside for him, and that was to save the world.
I’m learning not to complain as much when things happen to me. I have to trust and believe that God will show up and show out. Don’t go out seeking revenge as I did in the past. You can end up harming yourself because the little bit you can do, God can do so much more. I do have questions as to why the rooster crowed that morning while driving on the road, but only time will reveal.
Hosea 2:14-15, I will allure her, will bring her into the wilderness and speak comfort to her. I will give her vineyards from there, and the valley of anchor as a door of hope; she shall sing there as in the days of her youth as in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.
Encouragement: We all have hopes and dreams, and we also would like to fulfill those dreams if at all possible. Although you’ve been through valley’s in your life, believe ye me it was for a purpose.
Your valleys which we call trials and tribulations are going to be your door to success. God is going to get you alone by yourself when you’re all worn out, and he’s going to lure you into the wilderness to get your mind off of all that has been troubling you. He’s going to replace your thoughts of helping yourself with the thoughts of glorifying him.
Have you ever got up singing a song that you’ve never heard before? I must admit this morning I got up singing a song and I kept humming the tune, but couldn’t quite remember the words. After trying to remember the song and being unsuccessful “I accepted humming the tune.” I believe I was singing a new song because God is giving me my vineyards.
Don’t be afraid when God leads you into the wilderness. God gives in secret, however when he gives to you, people will take notice and start telling others.
Have you ever saw a person in the grocery store with two buggies full of food and you hit the person whom you’re with and say good gosh look at all that food they got, and then you say “child I know they gon be eating good tonight!” It’s an overflow, when God gives abundantly, somebody is going to take notice, “because it’s so much!”
Sincerely,
Angelique Lachelle
